The yellow flower is actually part of the background thats in black and white, but I played in PS to give it the feel of it laying on top of a photo, yet still part of it. Hope that makes some sense, lol.

Wow, that's way cool. It does look like you took a yellow rose and just set it on top of a black and white photograph. You suceeded in what you were trying to do perfectly, because the rose DOES blend in, except for the fact that its... more interesting, and that separates it from the other ones. Nice.

the coloring and manipulation looks quite natural.
i love that the rose is yellow and not red, totally different feel.
just plain good.
